Fraîche (pronounced fresh), is an entertaining ride of hip-hop music with a message. It takes an in-depth look at the state of hip-hop from a rapper’s point of view. It tackles how hip-hop is affected by commercialism. It also tackles how the credibility of an emcee is affected by their beat selection and word choices. Fraîche covers this and more, all in a fun way. The goal of this project is not only to present a fresh sound, but also to get people to begin the conversations needed to improve the view of what hip-hop is today.
